Here's some stuff done by me..
Gary Speed was a huge role model for me.
He was a quality player. He gave his all week in, week out unlike some of the modern day prima donnas who get paid hundreds of thousands of pounds per week and still have the nerve to throw a tantrum when they don’t get their way. (Yes, you Carlos).
He lead his teams by example.
As a manager he got Wales finally progressing. I honestly thought they would have a strong chance of qualifying for the 2014 World Cup.
He will go down as one of the best British players the Premier League era has seen.
The fact that he hung himself less than 24 hours after seeming in good spirits on Football Focus shows you never really know what’s going through a man’s head.
RIP Gary Speed.
